Maxi Fall Transition


Philosophy black pleated maxi dress

One of my favorite summer to fall transition pieces is a maxi dress. The length protects your legs from the cold, and when the temperature gets cooler at nighttime, it's easy to layer with a jacket. I am particular with maxi dresses, preferring ones with lengths that just sweep the floor and that the silhouette doesn't get lost in. This dress fits those criteria, in addition to its classic colors and pleated detail. We were driving through New Jersey, and we just had to pull over for this beautiful view looking towards New York. The windiness is a whole different story for my hair ;) What's your favorite way to transition from summer to fall?
