Black Tie Affair

I attended a friend's beautiful, quintessential NYC wedding set at the Boat House in Central Park. To match the elegant, yet fun event, the dress code was black tie attire, typically meaning full length gowns for women. I have decided to scale back on purchasing pricey special occasion dresses because they tended to be only worn once due to the fact that I don't want to repeat wear too soon and by the time I would consider repeating wear, it would be several seasons old by that point. I've heard about Rent The Runway before, but never thought about trying it out until now. Overall, I was pleased with the service and definitely would consider using it again in the future.

Prior to the wedding, I was actually in California and I jetsetted back to east coast on a red eye flight to make it to the event. Blacklane offered its black car service (which is available in over 150 cities in the US, Europe, and Asia),  and I was honestly pleased with how seamless my experience was, which made my tired morning so much better immediately after stepping off the plane.
