Eating good food and taking in the beautiful architecture and views were the highlights of my Chicago trip. The famous reflective Bean structure was too much fun (the last photo is actually my reflection in The Bean). The weather was freezing, so the best thing that I could do was layer up. I love the cropped length of the warm wool jacket so I can play around with layering underneath. I rarely wear sneakers, but it was a must for all the long distance walking, so I opted for a casual prep look. Thanks for reading!

I love Chicago! I fell in love with that city when I was on vacation two years ago and hopefully one day I'll be there for a while longer :) I got to see transformers 3 being filmed which was pretty neat and they have one of THE best Nordstrom Racks EVER!

The view in the first photo is spectacular! How did you manage to look so fearless? I felt a twinge of fear of heights just looking at the photo of you - it looks like you're sitting suspended in mid-air. What a view. The sweater you're wearing is beautiful - I love that colour. If I go to Chicago I should visit there. I'd heard Chicago was cold. It's still fall for almost two more months yet chilly already? Bracing for a storm here in the NorthEastern U.S..
